Winning the toss, Kempsey elected to field in this 40 over friendly. The Old Georgians found runs hard to come and were 59-1 after 20 over's. J. Cooper (18), J. Libbetta (18), assisted by M. Wenham (43 n.o), including seven fours, and S. Galagher (11), the only bats men to reach double figures. Two brilliant catches on the boundary from Mark Williams saw Old Georgians restricted to 117 for 5 in their 40 over's. Eric Hall (3-23) off four over's, Mark Williams (1-19) and Will Perry (1-23) the best of Kempsey bowlers.
