Match Report Winning the toss and electing to bat, Flyford Flavel found the runs slow to come in the 40 over friendly, being 5 wickets down at the halfway stage. Then a rally by Steve Beavan (31) and Andy Moss (38), together with a fine knock by Ian Edwards (41) including one six and three fours helped Flyford to 172 for 9 off their 40 overs. Best of the Kempsey bowlers Will Smith (17-5 off 8 overs), Riaz (29-2) and Jagan (24-1).
In reply Kempsey struggled to make the run rate due to tight bowling and fielding. Dave Robinson (51) including five fours, Mark Williams (15) and Dan Smith-Keitley (11) the only batsmen to reach double figures with Kempsey all out for 104 after 34 overs. Flyford the winners by 69 runs.
