Under very tight bowling Kempsey restricted Four Oak Saints to 22 off 11 over's before the first wicket fell. Four Oaks struggled to get runs and were eventually restricted to 84 from their 40 over's. Bal Nandra (30 including 6 fours) and Lance Ohren (23 including 4 fours) the only members to gain double figures. Tight bowling by all Kempsey only giving away 9 in extras, with Will Smith (5 over's, 3 Maidens, 2 Runs 0 Wickets) and Will Perry (6 over's, 4 maidens, 3 runs 1 wicket) the best of the bowlers.
In reply, Kempsey took only 16 over's to get the 85 required to win with Dave Robinson (31 including 6 fours) and Mark Williams (30 no including 4 fours) the main run makers.
